Future instructors in training!

Future rafting instructors are undergoing intense training on the Guil to pass their exams and obtain their diploma.

For a number of years now, the 3 rafting and kayaking training centres have been coming to the Guil for their exams.

For almost a year, 27 of them have been training, preparing, studying and sailing to become whitewater sports instructors. Soon, kayaking, hydroseeding and rafting will hold no secrets for them.

It’s in France, Corsica, Italy and on numerous rivers that they are honing their skills to prepare for their DEJEPS canoe kayak diploma. Next week, it’s here, on the Guil, in the Queyras nature park, that they will take their certification exams to validate their diploma.

The variety of routes and difficulties on this river, and its technical nature, will allow them to prove that they have reached the required level…

With the CREPS in Vallon Pont d’Arc, the Quey’raft team is involved in training the new graduates who will be our instructors of tomorrow!

Since 1997, Quey’raft’s mission has been to work with the CREPS in Vallon pont d’Arc to organise training courses for each year’s intake of rafting instructors.

The technical nature of the Guil makes it the ideal river for training specialists….

Already 20 years old and still just as much fun to be with you on the Guil

The Ascension weekend brought together all those who have worked to bring you a superb rafting experience on this memorable river for the last 20 years….
The weather and the water level on the Guil contributed to the success of the weekend…… The barbeque was open for lunch and dinner, and many people were able to discover the rapids of the “combe de Ville Vieille” with exceptional water levels and waves worthy of the biggest rivers.
Small convivial evenings on Friday 26 May and Saturday 27 May 2017 at the Ogival Ristolas and top-class accommodation at the Fontenil in Ristolas (with swimming pool).
